MythFall Weapons — 9 Weapon Types & Archetypes

MythFall has nine weapon types, each with its own mastery track and skill set. Switching weapons means relearning a moveset, so most players main one. The count is confirmed; the individual names are still inconsistent across community sources, so this page describes the categories rather than publishing an unverified nine-name list.

MythFall weapons — nine types

Weapon archetypes

Whatever the final names, the nine types fall into three ways of fighting:

Fast / light melee

Quick strings, short reach, low commitment. Rewards dodge-cancels and constant pressure; low stagger per hit.

Heavy / high-impact melee

Slow wind-ups, long reach, high stagger and burst. Strong into poise-breaking and bosses; punishable if whiffed.

Magic / staff (ranged control)

Spaces enemies out and controls the fight from range through the Magic Mastery track; scales with magic strength and Ether.

Choosing a weapon

Because each weapon levels its own mastery, the biggest early decision is simply to pick one and commit long enough to unlock its skills, then upgrade it to +5 through blacksmithing before bosses. Heavy weapons break enemy posture fastest — a natural fit for the Minotaur race; fast weapons reward the dodge-cancel timing; staff/magic play scales through the Magic Mastery track instead.

Individual weapon names are not yet confirmed — three community lists disagree — so we have not published a full stat table. This page will expand into per-weapon detail once names and stats are verified.
